Working Towards Permanent Change: Two New Programs in Guatemala

Posted on

We are very excited to share a brief video blog about our two newest projects in Guatemala. Thanks go out to Alan Dahl, LWB Board Chairman, for sharing his enthusiasm for these wonderful initiatives that launched in January of 2024.

The first program Alan introduces is the ADISA Center, providing a loving and nurturing environment to improve the quality of life for children with special needs.

LWB’s two newest programs in Guatemala are described by our board chairman Alan Dahl

Next, Alan presents our Believe in Me Tob’Anik Center in another rural area of the country. This center provides education and nutrition support for infants through primary school-age children.

“This is just the beginning of a journey,” says Alan, “It’s gonna change these children’s lives. The programs that we have are designed to be permanent. With education and nutrition, we can make a permanent change.”

We’re sure that you will agree with Alan and all of us at LWB that it will be wonderful to bring about permanent change to the underserved children in these two regions.

As Alan says, “I think you are just gonna love it!”
