Xiangtan is a city in the central part of Hunan province. It is located about 25 miles from both Changsha and Zhuzhou. These three cities make up the political, economic and cultural triangle of the province.

The Xiangtan Foster Care Program was established in the spring of 2007. There are currently ten children placed with loving foster families. The children truly blossom in foster care. Each month it is a pleasure to see the reports and know being in a family setting has changed their lives.

All the children in the program have or will have their files put forward for adoption. It is our hope that they will all find a forever family of their own, but while they wait, it’s good to know that they are getting the one on one love and attention that they so richly deserve in the foster care program.

Sponsorships cost $35 per month and sponsors receive reports and photos of their sponsored child each month. All of the children in the program have two sponsors, enabling full coverage of program expenses.
