Home > Foster Care Home Page > Programa De Familias De Acogida Love Without Boundaries believes that every child deserves a family of his or her own. Our foster care program currently serves more than 250 orphaned children in 16 cities throughout China. We work collaboratively with social welfare institutions to transition children from orphanages into loving and supportive foster homes, offering these children the individual care they need to reach their full potential. Program Philosophy Our focus is to place children in an environment where they will be supported by families who will love them and provide for their needs. We have a dedicated staff of managers in China who work directly with the foster families. They recruit, assess and offer training to the families wishing to add a foster child to their home. Additionally, they closely monitor the children, assessing each child’s overall health and development. During monthly home visits our managers meet with families and spend quality time with the children. This relationship allows us to quickly identify when a child has additional needs, such as supplemental nutrition, medical care, or other needs. Current Programs Our program is made possible through the generous contributions of our sponsors. All of the children in foster care require two sponsors to meet their needs. Monthly sponsorships are $35 each. Our sponsors receive a report each month about their child that illustrates how their support is making an impact. To sponsor a child please click here. We also accept general donations to foster care, either as a one-time contribution or through the purchase of our gift certificates. These funds are used to support our special projects, such as new outfits for the children for Chinese New Year and individual toys for each child on Children’s Day.
