Home > Foster Care Home Page > Programa De Familias De Acogida Based on the belief that every child deserves a family of his or her own, Love Without Boundaries’ Foster Care Program began in 2004. We currently have 15 foster care programs in seven provinces in China: Anhui – Dingyuan, Fuyang, Huainan, Lu’An, Xiaoxian, and our Zhang Village program located in Hefei Henan – Kaifeng, Sanmenxia, and Xinxiang Hunan – Loudi and Xiangtan Tongren, Guizhou; Shantou, Guangdong; Zhaotong, Yunnan, and Shunyi, Beijing Approximately 250 children, ranging in age from a few months to 18 years old, are currently placed with foster families. We work collaboratively with social welfare institutions to transition these children from orphanages into loving and supportive foster homes, offering these children the individual care they need to reach their full potential. We have a dedicated staff of managers in China who work directly with the foster families and visit each child monthly to assess each child’s overall health and development. These monthly visits allow us to quickly identify when a child has additional needs, such as supplemental nutrition, medical care, or other needs.
