Home > Education > Mama's Wish This program serves students living in remote villages on the Tibetan Plateau. Geared primarily towards the education of girls, we support not only orphans but also the poorest yet most promising children of rural and nomadic families in the region. Students undergo a rigorous selection process, and those who show the highest academic potential but no financial means are chosen by our Mama's Wish teachers to participate in the program. These students are given the opportunity to attend school and complete their high school and college educations, something that would otherwise be impossible for them. Recently, 55 students graduated from high school and took the college entrance exams. Love Without Boundaries is hoping to support each student who is accepted to college in their quest for a higher education. Due to their extreme poverty, Mama's Wish college students receive support for tuition, class fees, room and board, books, tutor if needed, school supplies, technology needs, and travel expenses between their remote villages and their universities. A modest monthly stipend is also provided for additional living expenses such as clothing and necessary personal items. Sponsorships for college students are $1350 per year, and donations in any amount are appreciated!
